Day - 02 - Guwahati Local Sightseeing - Start your day at Guwahati with visit to Kamakhya temple - Situated top of the Nilachal Hills, the foremost shrine of Assam - Kamakhya is an ancient temple with Hindu religious believe of Tantra and Shakti – it is believed that the pieces of Goddess Parvati (Sati) were scattered across the land and a part fell on the Nilachal hill - The temple here is called Yoni Pith - The shrine finds mention in the inscription of King Samudragupta’s pillar at Allahabad – besides the historical part the temple offers panaromic views of the river Brahmaputra and its surroundings – though all through the year devotees rush is observed in the temple but during the Ambubachi Puja its highest - Close to Kamakhya temple is Bubhaneshwari temple from where also one can have a birds view of the Brahmaputra River and the city  - Navagraha temple, Umananda temple, state Zoo are other attractions -  You can have ethnic Assamese lunch in Paradise / Heritage Khorika / Delicacy restaurant etc. – back to hotel - Evening free to roam around the city - Overnight in Guwahati

Day - 03 - Excursion to Pobitora Wildlife Sanctuary -  After breakfast you will be driven to Pobitora - 48 kilometers from Guwahati town - Its a reserved forest from 1971 and a declared wildlife sanctuary since 1987  - It is overpopulated with its one horn rhino - One can spot herds of wild elephants and Rhinoceros almost every corner of the sanctuary - Other wildlife includes leopard, wild boar, Barking deer, wild buffalo, monkey, deer, etc – Bird lovers had a great cheer for them as the large water body within the area where one can spot several species of birds – Elephant rides and jeep safaris are major activities in the sanctuary - Other places of interest are Haduk Hanging bridge, Garanga Beel pond etc. - Back to hotel or resort / Hotel - Optional is evening river cruise on Brahmaputra by motorized country boat (Subject to flood condition) or visiting Umananda temple on a Brahmaputra Island at the centre of huge Brahmaputra or evening free to stroll around the area or local market - Back to Hotel /  Resort - Overnight stay at the Hotel / Resort in Guwahati

Day - 04 - Departure Transfer to Lokpriya Gopinath Bordoloi International Airport (GAU) / Guwahati Railway Station (GHY) - After breakfast at hotel it will be pack up time and reach airport / railway station  – normal check out time of hotels are 12 noon - Four major trading centre and places of interest for tourist are  Pan Bazaar, Paltan Bazaar, Fancy Bazaar and Uzan Bazaar – one can stroll around the markets – handicrafts made of bamboo is famous of this area - Its worth mentioning that Prag jyotishpura and Durjaya (North Guwahati) this both ancient cities of were the capitals of the ancient state of Kamarupa commanded by Varman and Pala dynasties – Since then its became city of temples as many ancient Hindu temples are in the city - Dispur, the capital of Assam, is in the region located within Guwahati - drive to Lokpriya Gopinath Bordoloi International Airport (GAU) / Guwahati Railway Station (GHY) for forwarding Journey
